Our company was founded in 1923 and initially sold fine papers. We supplied commercial and industrial printers with printing papers, which we cut to the formats requested by our customers—then as now. Over time, we expanded our portfolio to include specialty papers, sustainable products, and packaging solutions.

For us, sustainability is not just lip service, but a matter close to our hearts. That is why we focus on sustainable packaging solutions for fresh food and transport protection. Our Philosophy

For 100 years, our family-owned business has been supplying the industrial and wholesale sectors with specialty papers and specialty films. Sustainability plays a major role for us.

In 2023, we celebrated our 100th anniversary with a variety of events. We would like to thank all our employees, customers, and business partners for their support, and we look forward to a shared and successful future.

BeeWrap

In 2019, we developed our CEO-certified BeeWrap beeswax wraps and have been producing them ever since.

Paper cushioning solutions

Environmental protection is of fundamental importance to us. That is why, since 2017, we have been continuously working to further develop eco-friendly paper-based packaging solutions.

In-house paper finishing

Since the early 2000s, we have been investing in the development of alternative, sustainable coating materials.

Supplier of anti-slip paper

Since the 1990s, we have specialized in the assembly and manufacture of anti-slip paper and anti-slip cardboard.

Specialist in cellophane

We have been importing celluloid from Europe since the 1960s and processing it at our own facility.

Manufacturing and distribution of fine papers

Until the mid-1960s, J.N. Lüning & Co. GmbH was involved in the distribution of fine papers. The printing papers were cut to the sizes requested by customers in the company’s own production facility.

In 1923, Johann Nikolaus Lüning founded the company that bears his name.
