Our company was founded in 1923 and initially sold fine papers. We supplied large and commercial printers with printing papers, which we cut to the formats required by our customers then as we do today. Over time, we have expanded our portfolio to include specialty papers, sustainable goods and packaging solutions.

We don't just pay lip service to sustainability, we are passionate about it. That's why we focus on sustainable packaging solutions for fresh food and transport security. In 2023, we celebrated our 100th anniversary with many activities. We would like to thank all our employees, customers and business partners for their support and look forward to a successful future together.

In 2019, we developed our ceo-certified BeeWrap beeswax pouches and have been producing them ever since.

Insulating shipping solutions made of paper

Environmental protection is of fundamental importance to us. That is why we have been working continuously on the further development of ecological insulating paper packaging solutions since 2017.

Own paper finishes

Since the early 2000s, we have been investing in the development of alternative, sustainable coating materials.

Supplier of anti-slip paper

Since the 1990s, we have specialized in the packaging and production of anti-slip paper and anti-slip cardboard.

Specialist for cellophane

We have been importing cellophane from Europe and manufacturing it in our own plant since the 1960s.

Converting and distribution of fine papers

J.N. Lüning & Co. GmbH was involved in the sale of fine papers until the mid-1960s. The printing papers were cut to size according to customer requirements in the company's own processing facilities.

Foundation

Johann Nikolaus Lüning founded the company named after him in 1923.
