Current Market Conditions – Secure Attractive Terms Now
A volatile situation: Risks are growing, but opportunities remain

In light of the current situation in the Middle East, we would like to inform you—as a manufacturer of paper-based packaging—at an early stage that the situation in the packaging market is currently becoming noticeably more acute. The plastics market in particular—that is, the segment of our competitive products (such as OPP blanks or plastic-coated anti-slip sheets)—is under severe strain. Availability is declining, while prices are rising, in some cases significantly, and are expected to continue to rise.

This makes it all the more important to us that you can still benefit from stable terms and conditions. We would like to assure you that we remain fully capable of fulfilling orders and, as of today, can continue to reliably meet your needs.

Cellulose glass remains reliably available

We would like to reassure you—our range of cellular glass remains reliably available. Because it is independent of the OPP market, cell glass is currently not only a sustainable but also a reliable alternative. Nevertheless, we have also been notified of a price increase of approximately 10%, although following successful discussions with our suppliers, we are only applying a significantly lower marginal surcharge for our cut-to-size products for you as our customers. Please also allow for slightly longer delivery times for orders, as we are currently experiencing a very strong order backlog.

Anti-slip paper is still available at attractive prices

Our anti-slip paper has also not yet been significantly affected by the current market disruptions, and we are very pleased to confirm that we will not be adjusting our paper prices until the end of June – except for shipping, as our freight forwarders have already announced a 5% increase through the end of April, and we are awaiting specific details starting in May. At the same time, we have recently seen capacity challenges with our logistics partners, meaning that some of our already produced goods could only be shipped with delays. In addition, freight rates were significantly adjusted in individual cases prior to pickup (beyond the 5% increase), which we had to accept to avoid further delivery delays. Despite a high volume of orders, our delivery capacity remains fully intact, and we are currently able to continue fulfilling your orders as usual—including prompt shipments from stock, as we are proactively increasing our inventory levels.

Plan ahead and secure our cellophane and anti-slip paper now at favorable terms. Send us your scheduled orders for direct delivery, or set up framework agreements with us to ensure everything arrives at your location as desired. In addition, our five distribution warehouses are at your disposal with an extensive stock of cellophane and anti-slip paper in standard qualities and formats – for fast and reliable delivery, while supplies last.

If you have any questions, our service specialists will be happy to assist you.
